Pros: Excellent sensitivity, feature rich, automotive and hiking navigation, solid construction
Cons: Limited basemap, smallish screen, low alert tone volume
The Bottom Line: The Garmin 60CSx is an excellent state of the art handheld GPS receiver that satisfies the needs of the driver, hiker, geocacher and jumpmaster.

Pros: New antenna/receiver is highly accurate, fast, and has great coverage.
Cons: None
The Bottom Line: This unit is the first of the next generation of handheld outdoor GPS units. The accuracy, satellite reception, and features make this unit a must-have.

Pros: Battery life, color, screen brightness, functionality
Cons: Sometimes TOO sensitive, directions it calculates are sometimes odd.
The Bottom Line: I love this GPS receiver and use it for both car navigation and for hiking and geocaching. It's great both in the car and in the field.

Pros: Excellent technology, well designed, lots of features and very robust.
Cons: Some software clumsiness and map data that needs work.
The Bottom Line: If you want a great piece of technology, then this unit is worth looking into.

Pros: Very sensitive receiver - cannot envision it loosing reception outdoors.
Cons: Extremely weak speaker.
The Bottom Line: Would buy again and would recommend to anybody in need of an excellent all-around general purpose nav device.

Pros: portable; versatile for car, motorcycle, personal; IPX7 standards
Cons: no voice directions provided unless you connect to laptop
The Bottom Line: Extremely versatile in the car, motorcycle and on foot through the woods!

Pros: Excellent reception, intuitive, lots of extra features, durable, water resistant
Cons: Software had to be reloaded, have to purchase maps separately
The Bottom Line: I recommend the Garmin 60CSx because of its excellent reception, usb connectivity, extra features and durability.

Pros: Highly recommended GPS unit
Cons: Sorry, none yet (possibly cheaper two-way sticky)
The Bottom Line: This is my second Garmin. The first one was 5 years old used every day and still works. This one is even better. HIGHLY recommended.

Pros: Much faster and more powerful satellite tracking...
Cons: It EATS up the AA batteries and the screen's hard-to-view in direct sunlight...
The Bottom Line: It's fast, powerful and versatile. I use it for driving, hunting and geocaching, and it's the second Garmin GPSMap60 model I've owned. Find a good price and get one!

Pros: waterproof, fast route calculations, satellite reception, upgradable memory, highly visible screen even in daylight conditions
Cons: overall cost, basic map that comes with the unit is very limited
The Bottom Line: The Garmin 60CSx is a well designed unit. It can use rechargeable AA batteries and it rids you of the stress of getting lost thus making your trip more enjoyable.
