The follow-up to Grand Theft Auto III and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. This time around, developer Rockstar North and publisher Rockstar draw upon a conceptual style reminiscent of the popular 1990s gangsta films like Boyz in the Hood and Juice. Five years ago Carl Johnson escaped from the pressures of life in Los Santos, San Andreas -- a city tearing itself apart with gang trouble, drugs and corruption. Now, it's the early '90s.
